Job description
Responsibilities:
Quality Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality criteria and regulatory standards.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Utilize your NDT Level 2 expertise to perform advanced inspections using techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and radiographic testing (RT) to assess the integrity and quality of welds and materials.
Testing and Analysis: Develop and execute testing protocols, including destructive and non-destructive testing, to evaluate material properties, product performance, and durability.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of inspection results, testing data, and quality reports, and generate comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to identify quality improvement opportunities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Supplier Quality: Monitor and assess the quality of materials and components sourced from suppliers, ensuring they meet our stringent quality requirements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and quality management systems, including knowledge of the International Standard ASME.
Training: Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
