Officer, Business Operations
Hikma is seeking a Business Operations Officer in the Commercial Department to Collaborate with departments to forecast product demand using statistical models and market trends. Generate monthly rolling forecasts, manage inventory, and analyze supply/demand dynamics. Take corrective actions, address issues, and decrease slow-moving inventory. Safeguard optimal Safety Stock levels, utilizing SAP and other tools for streamlined processes and reporting. Drive process simplification and standardization for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to gather information and historical data to forecast future product demand accurately. This involves using statistical models, market trends, and other factors to predict how much each product will be needed.
- Generate and update monthly rolling forecasts (supply and demand) for the existing products and new launches and align with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for inventory/market consumption to meet project prioritization efforts.
- Analyses supply and demand of inventory and long-lead parts and takes corrective actions to alleviate schedule impacts or excess inventory.
- Analyses and corrects excess supply orders in the ERP (SAP) system.
- Makes assessments about supply/demand issues, recommends thorough solutions, and takes initiatives to address issues.
- Actively decreases inventory (slow-moving) through crative supply and stocking practices and limits inventory conversion to excess and obsolete.
- Manages Safety Stock levels considering lead times, supplier capabilities, transportation logistics, and order quantities.
- Utilize SAP and other tools to streamline processes, track inventory movements, and generate reports for informed decision-making.
- Support simplification and standardization of processes by identifying enhancement opportunities and implementing solutions for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain or any related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in business analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to coordinate resources to meet customer requirements within a team environment.
- Expert in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Experience in ERP (SAP) is a plus.
