Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible to deliver sales and margin targets along with strategic plan goals and objectives in India for Industrial Division. To lead the India Sales team to deliver the targets ensuring a high level of Customer Satisfaction.
To develop, along with Global Sales team, and execute the sales plan to achieve the Strategic Plan and Profit Plan goals in assigned platform. Will be responsible for profitable growth and market share in the Industrial market segments.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead a team of Sales personnels in the sales offices to deliver the sales targets sales, collections (DSO),Net New Wins Profitability, On time delivery, Customer Satisfaction.
Develop and Manage customer relationship at Senior and operational levels at customers. Will be responsible for Customer satisfaction survey results and implementing of customer focused initiatives to meet customer expectations improving business share and profitability
Implement the Growth plan for Industrial segment/ BU s in the country to grow the business and exceed Strategic and profit plan objectives in the country.
Execute new product/ application initiatives and lead the efforts at the customer end forecast requirements and timing, delivery requirements, pricing, coordinate product validation at customer end etc.
Track assigned BU developments nationally in assigned new product developments and develops Strategies and growth plans to be executed by all Regional Managers. Will Monitor and report BU initiatives against plan and develop and coordinate corrective action plans across regions
Collect and provide market intelligence on market, customer, and competitor activities in the region
Ensure implementation of Ethics, systems (SAP) and other OCA initiatives in the regional offices. Will also be responsible for development and retention of regional team members.
Will be responsible for Sales Office administration, sales office infrastructure and ensuring adherence to revenue budget targets.
Will mentor and provide the development guidance to regional team members to better execute the Strategic and Profit plans.
Will support and deploy initiatives to drive the growth, new product launch and other customer and market initiatives to meet the Strategic and Profit plan objectives in the country, nationally for assigned BU s.
Will be responsible to ensure communication between the sales office and other functions in the company Plant, Engineering center to ensure response to customer needs and delivering Products, Services, Engineering on a timely basis. Will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information transfer.
Shall be responsible to capture customer needs and expectations and ensure that these are highlighted and acted on within the company to ensure we respond to these expectations to exceed delivering on our sales and profitability targets.
Utilize the regional Service Engineer resource to resolve customer field issues timely No of days to close complaints is key. Will coordinate Plant/ Quality/ Engineering resources as required. Manage & grow AMC business thru the service engineer resources.
