Job description
Virbhu India Pvt Ltd – Vadodara (Gujarat),
a wholly owned subsidiary of AK-LLC (USA), operating in the field of power electronics, has as an immediate opening for a Firmware & Communication Engineer. The position will be involved in new product development supporting the design and launch of Virbhu India Pvt Ltd next generation of cutting-edge products. Responsibilities Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, qualify and test application. Developing Embedded firmware for medium to high Power Electronic Converters. Develop and implement software of embedded devices and systems supporting the Embedded Hardware Engineer. Support software QA and optimize I/O performance. Develop, code, test and troubleshoot the system software. Should be able to use different types of controllers, ARM Cortex based, DSPs, FPGAs. Analyze, monitor, and improve efficiency, stability of the system. Interface with hardware design and development. Management of source code, configuration management and s/w release. Designing and implementing data structures and software algorithms to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Creating design documents pertinent to the various phases of firmware development. Documenting findings of engineering analyses and investigations. Testing, debugging, verification, and validation of functional modules against requirements. Providing post-development support. Working closely with the team to deliver and optimize system performance. Staying up to date with firmware development methodologies. Qualifications BTech /MTech. in Power Electronics / Electronics & Communication/Electrical. Must have experience with development and troubleshooting on embedded targets for Power Electronic Converters. Good programming experience in C or C++ and (Python is advantageous) Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review. Embedded SW/firmware development languages like C/C++, Function Block Diagrams, Sequential Function Charts, Structure text, etc for an embedded system product. Has experience in programming Microcontrollers/DSCs/DSPs/FPGAs. Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques and RTOS. Knowledge of different IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems.
