Job description
Overview :As a Validation Engineer at Ati Motors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and operation of our autonomous material movement solutions. You will be responsible for validating and verifying the performance, functionality, and reliability of our systems throughout the development lifecycle, from prototype to production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and quality assurance specialists, to assess and improve system performance and functionality.Responsibilities :1. Develop and execute validation and verification plans for robotics and industrial automation systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.2. Design and implement test cases, test scripts, and test procedures to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.3. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of robotics and automation systems, identifying and documenting issues, defects, and areas for improvement.4. Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely resolution and smooth system operation.5. Establish and maintain validation documentation, including test plans, test reports, and validation protocols, in accordance with company and regulatory standards.6. Develop and maintain test environments and test equipment, ensuring they are properly calibrated and functional.7. Participate in design reviews and provide technical insights and recommendations to enhance system performance, reliability, and user experience.8. Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies related to robotics and industrial automation, incorporating relevant advancements into validation processes.9. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, including training and mentoring junior engineers.Qualifications :1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a related field.2. Proven experience as a Validation Engineer or similar role, preferably in the robotics or industrial automation domain.3. Strong knowledge of robotics and automation systems, including sensors, actuators, control systems, and programming languages such as C++ or Python.4. Proficiency in developing and executing validation and verification plans, test cases, and test procedures.5. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, as well as data analysis and visualization tools.6. Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.7. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 3691 and B56.5 is a plus.8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.10.
