Role Summary:
As an Assistant at Jet Gems, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail department. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, assisting customers, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and staff. Success in this position entails efficient organization, exceptional customer service, and proactive problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Support: Assist the retail team in achieving sales targets by actively promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling items to customers.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to manage orders, deliveries, and product returns efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and preparing reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, customer service orientation, proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in retail management or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service roles preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems and POS software is advantageous. Qualified Freshers are welcomed.
- Certifications: No specific certifications required, but any relevant training in retail operations or customer service is beneficial.
