Job description
Requirement :- Develop, optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions.- Design and implement ETL processes.- Manage Azure SQL Server, ensure best practices.- Create data models for BI, collaborate with BI developers.- Perform performance tuning on SQL queries and ETL processes.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.- Proven experience in SQL development, ETL processes.- Expertise in Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures.- Familiarity with Azure SQL Server and data modeling.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred :- Microsoft Azure SQL Database certification.- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.- Experience with BI tools- Lead the migration of SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases to the Azure cloud platform.- Manage SQL Server databases in Azure, including backup and restore operations, implementing high availability solutions, disaster recovery strategies, Alwayson configurations, SSIS package deployment and management, and log shipping.- Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data migration tasks and hosting SSIS packages.- Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and Azure Synapse pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation.- Configure and manage Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and other Azure data services.- Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to ensure optimal performance and security of Azure Synapse, Databricks, and other Azure services.- Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting purposes (ref:hirist.tech)
