Overview

The HR Head for F & B plays a crucial role in leading and managing the human resources function for the food and beverage industry. They are responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies to support the business objectives and drive overall organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HR function for the F & B industry, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations, legal compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and grievances.
  • Lead and facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and address talent gaps and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and employment laws.
  • Conduct regular HR metrics and analysis to drive data-based decision-making.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts and promote a positive work culture.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing HR insights and recommendations.
  • Lead HR-related projects and initiatives to support business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR for the F & B sector.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR leader in the F & B industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee development, and labor relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices in the F & B sector.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits programs specific to F & B businesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse HR team.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant HR technologies.
  • Certification such as SPHR, PHR, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
  • Proven track record of driving HR initiatives that directly impact business success.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • High ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
