Job description
As a Team Member, the key duties include serving customers according to standard procedures, having a good knowledge of the menu to make recommendations and upsell, ensuring quick and efficient service, seating guests, taking and serving orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Additionally, the staff member is responsible for checking food quality, inventory management, reporting safety concerns, and collaborating with managers as needed. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Your Responsibilities - Handling service of customers in the area assigned.
- Serve food and beverages to guest in accordance with the standard operating procedure.
- Be conversant with the items on the Food and beverage menu, to be able to make recommendations to guests and upsell.
- Ensure that all guests are attended quickly and efficiently as possible, constantly striving to promote a 'service first' atmosphere
- Help the Guest to get seated as per the standards.
- Arrange the table for accommodating correct no of Guests.
- Take and serve order as per the standards.
- Standard for assembling and picking up food orders.
- Ensure and maintain clean and tidy table after the main course.
- Ensure all acts of serving are executed within prescribed time limit.
- To meet guest needs and request in right time.
- To ensure and maintain high level of guest satisfaction.
- To greet guests in a smiling, polite and courteous manner
- Check that the quality and presentation of food meets the set standards before it is presented to guests.
- Ensure work area is clean.
- Maintain high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness throughout the work area
- Ensure all equipment are properly maintained, stacked and stored
- Inventory in charge for cutlery amp; crockery and maintaining stocks.
- Report any potential health and safety hazards
- Confirm satisfaction by directly asking guests and getting the comment cards filled by guests.
- Co-ordinate appropriate action with the managers in case of dissatisfied guests.
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor
