Job Description:

The Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy will play a vital role in the college's mission to provide a high-quality education and research experience for our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in pharmacognosy, conducting research in the field, and providing mentorship and guidance to students.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching: One of the primary responsibilities of an Assistant Professor in Pharmacognosy is to teach students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This may involve developing course materials, giving lectures, conducting laboratory exercises, and assessing student performance.
• Research: Assistant Professors in Pharmacognosy are often expected to engage in research and scholarship, either independently or as part of a team. This may involve applying for grants, conducting research studies, publishing scholarly articles, and presenting findings at conferences.
• Advising: Assistant Professors in Pharmacognosy are expected to advise students on academic and career-related matters. This may involve providing guidance on course selection, research opportunities, and career paths.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Pharmacognosy or a related field
