Software Developer (Delphi Developer)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Object-oriented development of Windows applications in the Track & Trace area using Delphi, C# or C++
- Object-oriented development of Windows applications in the Track & Trace area using the Optel platforms
- Development of web applications in MS Visual Studio under C# and using ASP.NET libraries
- Development of interfaces / modules for connecting to databases (primarily MS SQL server)
- Interface development for printers, scanners, camera systems
- GAMP-compliant creation of specifications and documentation of the programs
- Participation in the creation of test scenarios and test cases for module and platform tests,
- Commissioning and functional tests on the systems in-house, project support, customer communication, customer support
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Studies in computer science or engineering or training as an IT specialist
- Sound IT knowledge (operating systems, networks, databases, interfaces)
- Sound knowledge of software development
- Safe handling of databases (PLSQL Server)
- Experience in programming communication interfaces (UDP, TCP , OPC, SOAP)
- Experience in object-oriented programming, preferably Delphi or C#
- Experience in multithreading programming
- Knowledge of methods, tools and standards for the design and implementation of complex software solutions
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
- Experience with process equipment (PLC, printers, encoders, cameras, sensors)
- Excellent communications (spoken and written) in English required
- Eligible to travel to Germany for extended period of time is required
