Role Ti tle:Java Lead Devel oper Responsibilities and Duties:•Design, implement and maintain RESTful Web Services API and algorithms using Java-8 and above.•Produce excellent, detailed design and development documen tation.•Work with team members to deliver features on time, respond to evolving requirements, and strategic shifts in dir ection.•Familiar and comfortable with Agile/Scrum software development metho dology.•Participating in code reviews and coordinating with other teams for peer design creation and impro vement.•Working with multi-functional group with internal partner engineering team in a well-adapted agile envir onment. Keys to Success:Must be coding 90 percent of your w ork day.•5-8 years of extensive experience in building back-end Java services and frameworks using Java/JEE. Must know Java-8 an d above.•Developing web server applications, object-oriented design and design patterns, and passionate about writing high quality and well-architect ed code.•NoSQL DB experience (Cassandra/Redis/Couchbase/Aurora, MyS QL etc).•Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Micro Services, Spring Data JPA,hibernate , REST, Java Web Services, JMS, XML, JSON, and messaging tec hniques.•Experience and familiarity with highly scalable s ervices.•3+ years Spring Dependency Injection and other core Spring features including Spri ng Boot.•Strong debugging and analytical abilities, problem solving and attention to detail.•Hand on experience with debugging, configuration and tuning of Application server, JVM, OS and da tabases.Proficient in agile software development process, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and ope rations.•Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems or CI/ CD tools•Exposure to containers (preferably Kubernetes) or related tech nologies•Experience with tools such as Git, Artifactory, and JIRA•Proficient in reading various source code languages and software patterns and method ologies.•Ability to handle parallel tasks and accurately detail reso lutions.Good to have Skills:•Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud archi tecture.•Knowledge on AWS cloud APIs like RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS etc.•Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, Docker/Ku bernetesJob tags
