Job description
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the school community, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with the school's mission and values. Academic Excellence: Oversee the development and implementation of a rigorous and innovative academic program that meets the needs of all students and promotes continuous improvement. Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and evaluate faculty and staff members, providing professional development opportunities to support their growth and effectiveness. Student Support: Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Financial Management: Develop and manage the school budget, allocating resources effectively to support the school's mission and strategic priorities. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students, families, alumni, donors, and other stakeholders, representing the school in the local community and beyond. Governance: Work closely with the board of trustees or governing body to establish policies, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans to ensure the school's continued growth and success. Qualifications: Educational Leadership: Advanced degree in education or related field, with a proven track record of successful leadership in an educational setting. Vision and Innovation: Strong visionary leadership skills, with the ability to inspire others and drive positive change. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in personnel management, budgeting, strategic planning, and organizational development. Educational Expertise: Deep understanding of educational best practices, curriculum development, assessment, and instructional technology. Ethical Leadership: Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and community members. Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience to navigate complex challenges and lead the school through periods of change and uncertainty. NOTE : 1) IB Curriculum/Accreditation experience is mandatory, 2) Preferably candidates from US Nationality/Americans.
