Bounteous is looking for a
Senior Copywriter with a passion for the written word, sharp editing skills, and a deep mastery of language. This opportunity is ideal for a creative individual who balances the importance of brand, copy, imagery, and tone to define powerful messaging in the context of a designed digital customer experience. The Senior Copywriter has a demonstrable understanding of content strategy, brand strategy, marketing strategy and campaign development, and UX writing. Most importantly, this individual is eager to showcase their skills in service of our clients within a welcoming, talented experience design team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of brand, campaign, and marketing objectives and devise strategies to achieve them.
- Develop copy strategies and plans across channels aligned to key audiences.
- Produce copy across projects and accounts.
- Serve as a critical reviewer of copy, providing quality feedback in a timely manner.
- Present copy clearly and persuasively in internal and external settings.
- Contribute to our culture and atmosphere, quality of work, and growth.
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to create innovative, best-in-class, customer-centric solutions.
Preferred Qualifications - BA/BFA in English, Writing, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience as a copywriter in an agency environment
- Experience participating in workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Mastery of both Chicago Manual and AP styles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Keen time management skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Interviewing and/or journalism background a bonus
- In-depth knowledge of writing and presentation software, including Microsoft Office
- Understanding of and experience using Figma visual design platform as copywriter
- Experience with Jira project management platform (or equivalent, such as Basecamp, Monday, Asana, etc.)
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
- Excellent listener with a passion for copywriting and content creation
$33 - $46 an hour
