Job description
- 5+ years of professional In-depth experience in Software Quality Assurance & Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC,STLC, ALM and various software testing models and methodologies.
- Candidate should have experience in Salesforce CRM applications.
- Experience creating automation test suites at scale using Worksoft Certify
- Good knowledge of database testing
- Proficient of using ALM and Jira for test management.
- A Salesforce tester should be familiar with load testing tools like JMeter/NeoLoad to validate the complex flows, which can offer inconsistent results in Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Apex is a plus
Role & Responsibilities
- Ability to research, solve problems, and work both independently and in a team environment.
- Write test scripts for new functionality / enhancements
- Create both positive and negative Test Scenarios
- Able to perform Equivalence Partitioning and Boundary Value Analysis
- Run Functional Test Cases for new functionality/ enhancements.
- Run Regression Test suite to support existing functionality.
- Should be able to conduct Smoke Testing to make sure all the major functionalities are functioning as per requirement
- Testers are also needed to work on the application and gain an understanding of its functionality to create a functional map.
- Create, manage, and run automated test scripts using Selenium or any other automation tool that may be adopted in the future; be willing to learn and provide output
- A tester should have an easy communication channel with the development team.
- He should understand the customizable features which can be built for the Salesforce app.
- The tester needs to execute role-based test cases to ensure the consistency of data.
- He should also perform a compatibility test in case Salesforce integrated with third-party applications.
- Regular follow ups with Development team on defect status.
- Attend Defect Triage calls.
- Meeting with development team on changes introduced and testing re-planning.
- Manages and supports the execution of varying types of complex test cases: i.e., service level, component, functional, regression, mobile, and end-to-end, etc. analysis.
- Document defects and collaborate with the development team on managing test results and feedback to developers.
- Provides detailed status reporting, metrics and execution dashboards.
- Works well with customers and vendors, knows when and how hard to push to maintain a stable and reliable environment.
- Performs technical troubleshooting /diagnostic analysis of system defects and conducts impact assessment.
