Job description
1) Job Purpose
Coordinate & follow up and work as interface between Sales and Operations in order to ensure production & dispatch of material as per the dispatch plan in line with sales order. Generate Plant based MIS and effect Extrusions Price Changes.

Supporting Actions
1. Processing of Orders to Manufacturing in time after receipt of the orders from regions.
a) on creation of New dies update relevant tables and masters and update the section price as intimated by marketing and approved by SBU Head. b) Create PID's on request from Marketing and send on the same day. In case of no feasibility seen follow up with plant weather production possible and intimate marketing accordingly. c ) Close follow up with planning and IT to ensure all orders are downloaded to Production.
2. Coordinate with Manufacturing to ensure timely production as per Order Items.
a) Daily interaction with planning and production with details of priority. b ) Attend meetings organized by the plant to intimate priorities and follow up with planning or execution and packing for completion. C ) Attend monthly review organized by Plant and present the Marketing concerns and support required from the plant.
3. Coordinate & follow up with Packaging & Logistics to ensure dispatch of materials as per customers order.
Details of WIP in priority forwarded to Post extrusion for fast completion and then reverted to Marketing for dispatch of the same. Follow up with Logistics for vehicle placement & dispatch.
4. Allocate & Unallocated material in consultation with RMs/TMs
Divert orders and allocate material from stock to direct as directed from Marketing. Analyse unallocated stock in plant and send the details to marketing for booking and allocation of orders. Based on request from Zones and on self scrutiny to allocate the material from unallocated stock. If allocated from unallocated stock advice planning to produce less to the extent of allocated quantity.
5. Update / Inform marketing on the status / progress in Execution of Orders for advance information to customer
All specific orders / ship set orders follow up with planning for execution and packaging for completion of orders and intimate marketing for dispatch of the same.
6. Management Information System (MIS)
Compilation of Previous day data regarding press wise Production & packaging, dispatch of the day, booking and send the report to MHO daily on all working days by 10.30 AM. Ensure correctness of the data and correct if any abnormalities with co-ordination with IT so that correct data is send. Hold release report for the day also to compiled and send to sales & coordinate with logistics to arrange the released qty if load is available.
7. Price Revisions
Effect Extrusion price changes on the same day of change and Freight charges when ever change happens. On receipt of confirmation mail/SMS from MHO immediately start price change activity. On completion send revised price list to branches and intimate logistics to start despatches. Freight charges to different destination changes to be done as and when required, due to Diesel price hike or change of transporter as intimated by Logistics Department.
