Responsible for Oracle Database Administration which includes installing, updating, and upgrading Oracle databases (11g, 19c, 23c), managing database space efficiently, implementing backup and recovery strategies, providing proactive monitoring and performance support, diagnosing and troubleshooting database issues supporting Oracle databases in SAP environments using SAPDBA tools
What you will be doing:
Perform all aspects of oracle 11g/19c/23c database system administration such as: Installation, updates, and Upgrade of Database.
Space management.
Backup and recovery.
Proactive monitoring and database performance support
Diagnosing and troubleshooting database problems, connectivity and security issues involving critical applications.
Experience supporting oracle database in SAP environment and SAPDBA tool
Good understanding of Unix based operating system, proficient in writing script in Unix shell language.
Experience with Unix operating systems and Backup tools like Commvault tool for backups and production on-call support.
Perform Installation, Update, Performance tuning of HANA DATABASE on SUSE 10. Knowledge of SAP Live cache.
What you will bring along:
Minimum 5 years of experience in same field.
Certificates - Oracle databases (preferred).
MCA or bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent work experience from a reputed institute.
Experience of working in post-production environment.
Demonstrated customer service, communication, and organizational skills
