Job Description: Director of Marketing, OTC Nutraceuticals
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead the strategic growth and brand awareness for our portfolio of OTC nutraceuticals in the Indian market. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, driving brand equity, and maximizing market share across traditional and digital channels. As a strategic leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for assigned OTC nutraceutical brands, considering market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights.
Manage the brand lifecycle, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
Manage the marketing budget and track ROI of marketing activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade partners, influencers, and media outlets.
Lead market research initiatives to gain insights into consumer behavior and preferences.
Analyze market data and trends to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance.
Manage a team of marketing professionals and provide mentorship and guidance.
Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies and implement relevant innovations.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, product development, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, preferably with a focus on healthcare or consumer goods.
Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, with 5+ years in a leadership role within the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, particularly in the Indian market.
Strong understanding of the OTC nutraceuticals market, regulatory landscape, and consumer trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Data-driven approach to decision-making with strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in marketing tools and technologies, including marketing automation platforms and analytics software.
