Job Description: Salesforce Testing Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Testing Specialist to join our team. As a Salesforce Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce platform through comprehensive testing and validation. Your expertise in Salesforce and SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) will be crucial in identifying and resolving any issues or bugs, as well as optimizing the platform's performance. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce applications, including functionality, integration, and regression testing. - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of Salesforce processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to understand system requirements and design effective testing strategies. - Utilize SOQL to query and manipulate Salesforce data for testing purposes. - Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, and work closely with the development team to resolve them. - Perform system and user acceptance testing to validate the Salesforce platform's performance and functionality. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce updates, features, and best practices to continuously improve the testing process. - Provide guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders regarding Salesforce testing procedures and best practices. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Salesforce Testing Specialist or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and administration. - Proficiency in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) for data manipulation and validation. - Experience with test management tools and software testing methodologies. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, are a plus.
