Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Sagar Hospitals. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing and documenting medical records, including patient history, diagnoses, treatments, and procedures. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist, with a seniority level of 7 to 10 years.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- High attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Strong listening skills and ability to understand accents and different speech patterns.
- Proficient with computers and transcription software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Transcribe and document medical records with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review and edit transcriptions for quality and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines for medical transcription.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
