Company Description The Veshti Company, a dynamic and growing online marketplace for apparel, is seeking a technically proficient Graphic/Print Designer. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical skills in Fashion design, particularly in creating detailed tech packs, Print Design, Collection sketches and textile drawings.
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai for a Fashion/Print Designer. The Faashion/Print Designer will be responsible for creating designs for textiles, designing graphics and layouts for print and digital media, branding and identity design. Trend research and in-depth market survey in order to thoroughly understand the market needs. Work on season themes, Graphic Designing, Design Development, Product development, Pre-production sample development, Printing techniques and Sampling Co-ordination. Develop mood boards, creating sketches. Collaborate with the design team to execute creative concepts into print designs. Create and prepare print-ready files using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. Work closely with printers and vendors to oversee the production process and ensure the final product meets quality standards. Stay updated on industry trends and printing technologies to recommend improvements and optimisations. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality. Provide design/concept boards to communicate design and seasonal direction for textile prints, materials and trims. Remote work is acceptable. Have a good sense of story, mood, colour boards. Should be able to derive costings and and generate tech packs for samples. Qualifications Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Ability to hand draw and Strong knowledge in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Print Design, Graphics, and Graphic Design skills Strong design and conceptual skills; good sense of style and colour. Experience in designing for textiles Excellent attention to detail and artistic skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Graphic/Textile Design or related field Experience in the Graphic Design/textile industry is a plusJob tags
