Job Description
Job Summary
To lead all HR, IR, and Admin activities at the site level. All statutory requirements must fulfill as per Harsco standards, Factories Act, Labor Act, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Drive the recruitment process of Blue Collared for respective Business unit with a focus on lead times.
- Drive the employee engagement, communication, reward, and recognition program at the site level.
- Handling compensation & benefits negotiations and administration.
- Ensuring the record-keeping activities & generating various MIS & KPI reports
- Administration of Contract Workforce (Agency Personnel) that includes overseeing their Payroll to ensure statutory compliance
- Site-specific Statutory Compliance
- Site-specific Employee Welfare Initiatives
- Site-based Training Initiatives / Administration
- Employee Discipline / Employee-Employer Relations
- Site-specific Leave Administration / Record Keeping
- HR Metrics / Reporting (Absenteeism / Overtime / Attrition etc.)
- Site-specific Internal Communications
- Site-specific HR Portion of Integrated Management System (incl. Record Management),
- External Relations
- Industrial Relations
- Site-specific Facilities Management (Office Infrastructure)
- Management of Employee Transport / Travel
- Administration of approved Admin Budgets and controls thereof
Qualifications
Education:
- Batchelor’s Degree, preferably a Masters in human resources administration
Experience:
- 10 years experience in HR and administration activities at the plant level
- Preferable in Manufacturing and steel/cement industries with Contract Labor Regulation Act (CLRA)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail in policies, procedures, and systems
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
