Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Automation Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation, pre-sales, delivery, innovation, and thought leadership. With a proven track record of global experience, working with large Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Enterprises, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through the implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions. We are looking for someone with proven experience as an Automation Architect with a focus on pre-sales and delivery for about 10 years with overall industry experience of 20 years
Responsibilities
1. Innovation and Thought Leadership:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation.
- Has solid hands on experience of leadings test automation tools and frameworks both in Open Source and COTS segment
- Drive innovation by introducing new ideas, methodologies, frameworks and tools to enhance organizational, automation capabilities
- Contribute to thought leadership through articles, whitepapers, and presentations at industry events
- Extensive experience with automation tools for UI, API, and mobile testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WDIO, UFT, and Test Complete.
- Drive quality control around CI/CD(Azure, Jenkins, CricleCI) pipeline process and implementation.
- Strong expertise in mobile automation for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and addressing challenges specific to mobile environments.
- Design and implement strategic test automation architectures, considering the unique aspects of each technology stack and ensuring scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
2. Pre-Sales and Business Development:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and objectives.
- Lead and contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution presentations, and client workshops.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and contribute to the development of winning strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and execute POCs to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of automation solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and design tailored automation solutions.
- Contribute to the expansion of existing client relationships by identifying opportunities for additional services in Test Automation space
- Drive test automation thought leadership initiatives to increase overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders of clients and prosects
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on automation initiatives
3. Framework and Tool Development:
- Own the development of Harbinger IP, and strengthen to address the emerging industry needs and trends
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of automation frameworks.
- Evaluate and recommend diverse tools to optimize automation processes.
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering
- Proven experience as an Automation Architect with a focus on pre-sales and delivery for about 10 years with overall industry experience of 20 years
- Has diverse experience of automation frameworks and tool stacks
- Strong experience working with large ISVs and Enterprises.
- Global experience with the ability to adapt to diverse business environments.
- Demonstrated success in winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to travel as needed, and preferably has B1
