Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

To process client onboarding CDD for new clients and on-going periodic CDD review for existing legal entities, branches and ensure that review is completed on a timely basis. To conduct checks and due diligence on these accounts primarily looking out for adverse news/information that may be detrimental to the reputation of the bank in particular, any evidence of financial criminal activities. Responsible for identifying accounts that have been raised incorrectly or not in accordance with the relevant CDD Policies and Guidelines. Such accounts should be reviewed and rectified accordingly.

What will you be doing

. Accountable for new client (Corporate and Personal Client) on boarding and to perform ongoing review for existing clients
. To deliver error free processing and preventing team from making errors
. Addressing the quality challenges and process updated within the team
. RM management and stake holder management
. Teams development in terms of process and skill

What we're looking for:

. Person with core KYC/AML/CDD onboarding skillset and Periodic AML reviews and KYC refresh expertise along with SOW knowledge
. Reporting to the Team Manager/AVP, the Analyst is expected to perform CDD for new clients and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on existing accounts to screen clients and review the information & documentation of the client as part of the Client Periodic Review process.

Skills that will help you in the role:

. The Candidate should have core CDD/KYC/AML Knowledge for both Personal and Non Personal clients and its policies related to sanctions and screening.
. Minimum 3-4 years of experience and with minimum 1-2 years of experience in KYC/CDD process
. Should have wealth/investment banking domain client On boarding and its review knowledge
. Should have experience in addressing the quality challenges within the team and experience in training the new joiners in the team on the process front
. Build proactive control environment and collaboration within the team
. Should have interacted with Front office and RM teams via teams/telephone/email both written and speaking on a daily basis
. Should be flexible for any shifts
. Should have worked on all Risk types and individually able to classify a risk of both individual and entity client types
. ACAMS and other KYC certifications
. Presentation skills
. Country specific KYC CDD guidelines
. Account maintenance activities skills will be added advantage
