Job description
# Provide strategic legal counsel and serve as a legal and business advisor to the company's management.
# Lead negotiations and actively participate as the first point of contact on legal issues, including liaising with and providing legal advice to stakeholders such as Sales, HR, Commercial, and Business Teams.
# Analyze legal implications of various issues, advise internal stakeholders and management, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
# Draft, review, and finalize various corporate contracts, agreements, legal documentation, and responses to letters and legal notices.
# Manage legal aspects, including due diligence, document review, identification and resolution of operational and legal issues, obtaining regulatory approvals, and closing deals.
# Handle statutory compliance programs, formulate policies, internal guidelines, SOPs, and POSH Policies, and advise on compliance with internal policies, statutes, and regulatory requirements.
# Liaison with external advocates on appropriate legal documents for trial or court proceedings, represent the company in legal proceedings, and protect the company against legal risks and violations.
# Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiate deals on behalf of the company, and design and oversee the company's policy and position on legal matters.
# Examine legal issues related to new products and services, guide management on regulatory and compliance issues, and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
