We are seeking a skilled data modeler with experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and strong skills conceptualizing & implementing ESG Data models and minimum 6 months of experience in Microsoft Sustainability Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Data Models that support our clients' ESG initiatives and improve their sustainability reporting. You will also play a key role in our pre-sales efforts, showcasing our data capabilities to potential clients.

Your key responsibilities
- Understanding of key business requirements and driving stakeholder workshops to design data products
- Conceptualizing, Designing, and implementing logical and physical data models in Microsoft Sustainability Manager, for ESG/Sustainability reporting and transformation projects with good understanding of ESG frameworks/regulations such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD etc.
- Ensuring data products is adhering to best practices during implementation and hands-on experience on data quality rules definition for data elements pertaining to ESG/Sustainability reporting and transformation.
- Good understanding of Data Product – Data Mesh Frameworks.
- Working closely with Microsoft team, in analyzing Project ESG Data Lake and customizing as per the requirements.
- Configuring Synapse link in Sustainability Manager to store and build ESG Data Marts.
- Good understand of Azure cloud skills and Microsoft Azure One Fabric.
- Works with EY presales teams, technology project teams and business clients/leaders to translate ESG and sustainability related business requirements into data solutions, which will require some persuading, influencing, and negotiating with stakeholders across the business – internal and external.
- Good communication skills to provide technical guidance and guiding team during data model implementation and data visualization.

To qualify for the role you must have
- Preferably a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or in related field.
- Deep understanding and Hands on experience with designing and implementing data products based on Azure or similar data platforms.
- Excellent skills in Azure Synapse , Databricks ,Python ,ADF
- Good knowledge in Azure one Fabric
- Good understanding of Azure data lake, Synapse studio, Purview and Sustainability Manager data model.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in building data lakes
- Understanding of ESG principles, standards, and regulations, including CSRD reporting requirements.
- Experience with client workshops and designing proposals and pre-sales activities.

- Demonstrated sustainability background
- Experience with ESG-specific data platforms or tools.
- Familiarity with industry-specific ESG metrics and benchmarks.
