Job Summary Cloud Volume Engineering is R&D wing of the Public Cloud Services Business unit responsible for building cloud-integrated, fully managed, high-performance scalable Cloud storage solutions across GCP, Azure, and AWS. Senior Program Manager will own and manage the end-to-end program management of NetApp's key growth initiatives in the Cloud BU identified by the CEO and executive leadership team. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Cloud Volume Engineering. Key responsibilities include Site-level planning and operations, leading and working with all cross-functional stakeholders to drive program milestones and deliverables that provide strategic solutions for Software as a Service in the Cloud BU. Stakeholders could be internal to NetApp or external customers, vendors, and partners. The incumbent will drive the cross-functional team from concept, design, implementation to launch the product/service in the market while working within the guidelines and cadence defined by the program team
Job Requirements - Proven ability to quickly learn complex business and/or technological concepts related to Cloud and Storage.
- Ability to effectively work with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, SRE, PM, and Partners.
- Experience in running multiple programs end to end including release management within engineering organization required.
- Ability to understand project and resource interdependencies within a program or portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, concisely, and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision.
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and drive process changes using a data-driven approach to increase velocity and quality.
- Results-oriented: proven track record in delivering results; Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively resolve issues; and escalate when appropriate.
- Fluent in Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications.
Education - 15+ years of work experience leading large and complex cross functional projects and product implementations.
- 5+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience is required.
- PMP is preferred
