Job description
Site Surveys: Conduct on-site surveys to assess the layout, , and security requirements of the area where the CCTV system is to be installed.
Security Needs Assessment: Collaborate with clients and security experts to understand their security needs and objectives.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend appropriate CCTV equipment, cameras, lenses, and recording systems based on site-specific requirements.
Camera Placement: Determine the optimal placement of CCTV cameras to provide comprehensive coverage while minimizing blind spots.
Infrastructure Assessment: Assess the existing electrical and networking infrastructure to ensure it can support the CCTV system.
Technical Specifications: Create detailed technical specifications for the CCTV system, including camera types, resolutions, lens selections, and data storage requirements.
Budget Estimation: Assist in estimating project costs, including equipment, labor, and additional resources.
Compliance: Ensure that the CCTV system design complies with legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including site plans, camera placement diagrams, and cabling layouts.
Integration: Collaborate with other security systems, such as access control and alarms, to ensure seamless integration with the CCTV system.
Project Management: Assist project managers in planning and executing the installation of the CCTV system.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation and post-installation phases.
Qualifications:
Education: A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Security Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant certifications and experience may be considered.
CCTV Expertise: Strong knowledge of CCTV technology, camera types, resolutions, lenses, and recording systems.
Surveying Skills: Proficiency in surveying tools and techniques for site assessments.
Documentation Skills: Excellent documentation and diagramming skills using software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electrical and networking infrastructure, as well as the ability to interpret technical specifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Upto ₹20000 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Across Pan India: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
• Field Engineering: Minimum 2 years (Required)
