Job description

What You Do

Managing the Procurement activities of the organisation. Ensuring compliance with Organisation policies and processes. Ensure documentation as per process. Preparation of Monthly reports and MI reports as required. Vendor Management

  • Negotiating and administrating the purchasing contracts, determining payment terms and delivery term negotiation, optimization and management.
  • Monitoring supplier performance management, cost saving opportunity identification and action driven.
  • Guiding the process of qualifying and selecting appropriate suppliers in terms of supplier financial status, capacity, capabilities and business in general.
  • Leading the process of purchase agreements development, negotiation, RFX (RFI, RFP), and management in accordance with Allianz policies, procedures, and approval authority.
  • Procuring materials and finalizing contracts/services in the areas of technology (hardware and software), infrastructure/facilities, office supplies, catering services, other services and maintenance contracts
  • Vendor identification, evaluation, selection and management
  • Dealing with Suppliers / vendors (Supplier Identification, Conduct Negotiations, Develop and close contracts).
  • Managing necessary records, data, accounting and MIS relating to the department
  • Support high spend and critical projects through appropriate team navigation & inputs
  • Actively lead competitive bidding projects, obtaining quotes and negotiation commercial terms.
  • Ensure purchase order (PO) creation with all supporting documents, per policy. Work closely with Accounts Payable / finance team to ensure both purchasing compliance and to assist in resolving payment discrepancies
  • Basic / Advanced understanding on the category (Manpower/Learning & Development) procurement including developing the SOW , work with business / user to work on the requirement specifications / implementation/ process / contractual terms and industry standards

What You Bring

  • Candidates with a total relevant experience of 08 - 10 years (and at least5+ years in a similar role) (preferably IT/ITES industry).
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-changing, demanding environment.
  • Willingness to be hands on is essential
  • Must have experience in Facility development and maintenance, Software and Hardware purchases
  • Strong knowledge of local taxation
  • Good analytical skills essential
  • Prior experience in Procurement, developing strategic partnerships and Vendor Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal, facilitation and negotiating skills
  • Experience in RFP / tendering procedure critical.
  • AMC terms and conditions and setting/evaluating SLA's

Knowledge on Sourcing of manpower/ technical skills added advantage
