About the role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as Horizon system support contact, answering questions, investigating/troubleshooting issues, and providing appropriate access. Systems in scope include Horizon and Horizon Timesheet.
Manage creation of new program codes in Horizon that support the Drug Development process and incorporate new values into standard lists when necessary.
Implement tollgate and Inter-tollgate governance and funding decisions across the portfolio after approval in Horizon.
Contributes to developing QA checks and conducts periodic reviews to assess quality of portfolio data, and then follow up with individuals and teams to resolve issues and improve data.
Verify and characterize bugs/issues, create and manage trouble tickets, and work with business, technical and operations teams to resolve.
Solicit and organize feedback from Horizon user community and Timesheet Coordinators.
Work with business process and system owners to address feedback through modified/enhanced system capabilities and/or more efficient business processes; Raise, drive and follow-up change requests and execute related user acceptance tests.
Manages and organizes all aspects of the Horizon Info site and coordinates work to ensure the site is current and meeting Novartis standards.
Prior experience in pharmaceutical industry or related industry essential, especially in project management, training, and end user support.
Role Requirements
Good technical knowledge (informatics / process engineering / IT) and demonstrated aptitude for innovation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills; Approachable, outgoing, and enthusiastic. Open minded and engaging personality.
Strong customer focus. Equipped with a problem solving and support mentality. Experience in supporting business functions on project management system usage.
Experience in the maintenance of project management systems (e.g. regarding data quality management, system changes, etc.).
Ability to work efficiently with remote & diverse teams (IT, project management and other development functions) spread over different countries and time zones.
Able to work in a matrix environment ensuring management of different stakeholders/functions.
