Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Head who is having a hands-on experience with Nutanix's all line of technologies as part of Hyperconverged Infrastructure. He should have a hands-on experience with Nutanix Prism, HCI, Files, Move, ERA, Calm, and NDB technologies of Nutanix. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge of virtualization layers server management, and storage technologies. This role involves the relationship with OEM i.e., Nutanix, and communicating with the top management of the company for revenue building and supporting the Nutanix professional and residencies services.
Responsibilities: • To deliver Nutanix's line of products for domestic and overseas customers.
• To give a walkthrough and POC of the related technologies.
• To manage a team of 5-10 people.
• Training, mentoring, and up-to-date skill enhancement on the related Nutanix technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain data centre infrastructure solutions.
• Lead the management and administration of the Nutanix suite of technologies. including configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies for optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades, and patch management to ensure system integrity and stability.
• Storage Solutions and DR feature related to Nutanix line of technologies.
• Manage storage systems and solutions, including SAN, NAS, and DAS, to ensure data availability, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Optimize storage utilization, performance, and scalability based on business needs and growth projections.
• Collaborate with the backup and recovery team to ensure data integrity and implement efficient data retention strategies.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Coordinate with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve seamless integration and alignment of IT initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring and Capacity Planning:
• Knowledge of Nutanix compliance layers for improving the posture of Security and Compliance of the underneath infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to data centre operations.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in VMWARE, Nutanix, data center management, server administration, and storage solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Relevant certifications, such as Nutanix NCS and NCP, NPX.
