Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to e-commerce transactions.
Process and reconcile e-commerce sales transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights into key performance indicators.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and industry standards.
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for e-commerce operations.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards related to e-commerce
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience as an accountant, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Strong understanding of e-commerce accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
Knowledge of relevant tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Package - 5 lacs to 6 lacs per annum.
