What You'll Do
● Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in line with US GAAP as
applicable to IT SaaS companies to ensure compliance with best practices and US
regulations
● Responsible for finance process documentation and internal controls
● Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts
payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
● Create and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts and
financial statements.
● Analyze financial data and provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior
management and the Board of Directors.
● Develop and manage the company's budget and financial forecast, including monitoring
expenses and revenue projections.
● Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company has adequate funds to meet its
obligations and pursue growth opportunities.
● Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax
authorities.
● Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, such as sales, marketing,
engineering and operations.
● Stay current with financial regulations and accounting standards.
What You'll Need:
● At least 10 years of experience in Accounting Operations and Financial Reporting
● Currently working as a Financial Controller in a IT SaaS company with deep expertise
of US GAAP, US state and federal tax requirements
● Qualified Chartered accountant (Ideally also CPA qualified) from one of the leading
global accounting firms
● Deep expertise with Indian accounting and tax requirements
● Experience leading a high performing finance team and working in a highly global
cross-functional role with many dynamic teams and senior executives
● Experience in implementing best in class finance processes and controls and dealing
with leading Audit firms to ensure timely and adequate completion of audits
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present
ideas, updates, and results to business partners on various levels
● Excellent Excel skills and in depth experience in working with Accounting systems
(Quickbooks)
