Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fragrance Evaluator to join our team at RS Fragrances. As a Fragrance Evaluator, you will play a crucial role in our creative process, ensuring that our fragrances meet the highest standards of quality and appeal. This is an onsite position that requires a deep understanding of fragrance evaluation techniques and a keen sense of olfactive perception.

Responsibilities

• · Conduct sensory evaluations of fragrance compounds and finished products to assess their Odor characteristics, intensity, longevity, and overall quality.
• · Collaborate closely with the Perfumery and R&D teams to understand fragrance briefs and objectives.
• · Utilize a variety of evaluation techniques, including olfactive, analytical, and consumer testing, to assess fragrances' performance and marketability.
• · Maintain accurate records of evaluation results and provide feedback to perfumers for fragrance adjustments.
• · Keep abreast of industry trends, market preferences, and regulatory requirements to guide fragrance development.
• · Participate in fragrance training programs to enhance olfactive skills and knowledge.
• · Contribute to the development of fragrance guidelines and standards.
• · Assist in resolving technical and sensory issues related to fragrance formulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality control protocols in fragrance evaluation

Qualifications

• · Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Sensory Science, or a related field.
• · Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Fragrance Evaluator in the fragrance or consumer product industry.
• · Proficiency in sensory evaluation techniques and odor analysis.
• · Strong olfactive perception and the ability to discern subtle fragrance nuances.
• · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• · Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
• · Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
• · Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
