Job Overview

We are hiring an Article Trainee to join our team at Chandak Agarwal & Co. As an Article Trainee, you will gain practical experience in the fields of accounting, taxation, auditing, and more. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We are looking for a fresher with less than 1 year of experience who is eager to learn and grow in the accounting field.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Knowledge of taxation laws and regulations
• Familiarity with auditing procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records
• Participate in the auditing process, including reconciling financial statements and identifying discrepancies
• Contribute to tax planning and compliance activities
• Perform general accounting tasks, such as journal entries and maintaining general ledgers
• Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Stay updated with the latest accounting regulations and standards
