Job Description

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  2. Lead a team of 70 professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  3. Identify and target large corporate clients for invoice discounting solutions, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships.
  4. Drive the recruitment and retention of top talent, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
  5. Cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation within the sales team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  6. Manage complex B2B sales cycles, navigating negotiation processes, and overcoming objections to secure deals.
  7. Oversee the implementation of digital and technical solutions to enhance the sales process and improve customer experience.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  9. Lead P&L management and financial planning efforts, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to drive alignment and execution of business objectives.
  11. The CBO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of business development, including P&L management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field MBA preferred.
  2. 12-18 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the fintech industry.
  3. Proven track record of success in managing large corporate clients and driving revenue growth.
  4. Strong sales acumen with the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  5. Experience in building and scaling teams, attracting top talent, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  6. Deep understanding of digital and technical solutions, with the ability to leverage technology to drive business results.
  7. Experience in managing P&L and financial planning, with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic initiatives.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and drive for results.
