Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead a team of 70 professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and target large corporate clients for invoice discounting solutions, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships.
- Drive the recruitment and retention of top talent, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation within the sales team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage complex B2B sales cycles, navigating negotiation processes, and overcoming objections to secure deals.
- Oversee the implementation of digital and technical solutions to enhance the sales process and improve customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Lead P&L management and financial planning efforts, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to drive alignment and execution of business objectives.
- The CBO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of business development, including P&L management, team leadership, and strategic planning.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field MBA preferred.
- 12-18 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the fintech industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing large corporate clients and driving revenue growth.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Experience in building and scaling teams, attracting top talent, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Deep understanding of digital and technical solutions, with the ability to leverage technology to drive business results.
- Experience in managing P&L and financial planning, with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic initiatives.
