JOB SCOPE
Role : Food Production Executive
- Scheduling & planning of line maintenance, coordinates and follow-up maintenance activities, preventive maintenance and breakdown of machines.
- Preparing daily production plan Plant (Unit) wise & line-wise according to indent of the month.
- Optimum utilization of manpower, daily training of labors & supervisors to achieving production target, maintaining safety & hygiene.
- Continuous focus on production lines & ensuring minimum change over, minor stoppages, prompt action on the breakdown, trying to reduce rejection.
- Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastages and efficient utilization of resources
- Maintaining good housekeeping, GMP, GHP, & hygiene as per FSSAI.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering / Food Science / Food Technology.
- A Minimum of 4 to 5 Yrs Food Production experience in Plant Operations in a Food Manufacturing or Food Processing or Food Production industry.
Staff Supervision:
- Supervisor must responsible for monitoring Rice/ Dal Packing section.
- Ensures that all sanitation rules are followed in the kitchen area by the helpers and cooks.
- Candidate should be plan and rotate the duty timings and update in HR department accordingly.
Manage Inventory:
- Control, maintain and manage kitchen inventory and food supplies.
- Ensure all ingredients for preparing food are in right supply on time.
- Organizing the inventory, storage, distribution and supplies.
- Supervisor is obligated to organize and rotate all food in stock and taking inventory. He checks the food stock for freshness and quality on a regular basis. With this, it is the Kitchen Supervisors call to purchase food and kitchen supplies.
Cleaning & Hygiene:
- Ensures that all sanitation rules are followed in the kitchen area.
- Making sure the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work.
- Make sure every kitchen staff wear all safety equipment during kitchen operation time (e.g.- wearing hand gloves & safety shoes).
Follow Safety Standards:
- Participates in all emergency drills, fire safety awareness & environmental safety activities.
- Supervisor must oversee the kitchen helpers and the cooks; to make sure that all employees follow safety and health standards.
