Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales and product teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Sales Strategy and Growth: Develop and implement robust sales strategies to drive the growth of the SME unsecured lending portfolio. Identify market opportunities and tailor products to meet the evolving needs of SME clients.

Product Development and Innovation: Collaborate closely with product development teams to design, refine, and introduce innovative and competitive lending products specifically catering to SMEs.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to enhance business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Risk Management: Implement effective risk assessment and mitigation strategies to maintain a healthy loan portfolio. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, prepare reports, and derive actionable insights to enhance sales efficiency and product performance.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.

The Successful Applicant

Experience: A minimum of 20-25 years of progressive experience in the financial industry, with a strong focus on SME unsecured lending. Prior background within an NBFC is highly preferred.

Sales and Product Leadership: Proven track record in leading sales and product teams to achieve business targets, with a deep understanding of SME lending products and market dynamics.

Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, leveraging insights into SME lending requirements and market trends.

Compliance and Risk Management: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards and risk management practices within the financial sector, particularly related to SME lending.

Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving business outcomes
