More Info : Position: Lead - Corporate Legal We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Corporate Legal Lead. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Business by providing legal guidance, managing contract drafting, and conducting thorough contract reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Contract Drafting: Lead the development and review of client ready contracts while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with legal standards. Conduct comprehensive reviews of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to sales transactions. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate legal terms and conditions into contracts while maintaining a balance between legal protection and business objectives. Ensure contracts are drafter and submitted in a timely manner to facilitate swifter deal closures. Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring that contracts align with company policies and legal requirements. Provide timely feedback to internal stakeholders on contractual matters and negotiate favorable terms when necessary. Partnering with the Business: Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on a variety of legal matters. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to understand business objectives and provide legal support in various aspects of the sales process. Advise on legal implications and risks associated with sales strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manage and coordinate the organization’s litigation and dispute resolution activities. Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of legal developments and advise the organization on potential risks and opportunities. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and implement policies to ensure legal compliance in collaboration with other departments. Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel in APAC regions or in EU regions. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in law or related field. 8-12+ years of legal experience (experience in the IT industry is preferred). A proven track record in providing legal advisory and drafting legal documentation pertaining to commercial technology law areas. Knowledge of India contract law and other applicable laws and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
