Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Tool and Die Maker at Udayam Pressings in Chennai. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for manufacture of press tools jigs & fixtures and maintenance of the press tools. The Tool and Die Maker will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate materials, and maintaining equipment and tooling.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and Technical skills, including knowledge of machine tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Good mathematical skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations and measurements
• Familiarity with different metals and the properties of each
• Experience in tool and die making or related manufacturing field
• Attention to detail, precision, and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
• High School Diploma or equivalent
