About the Role

​​We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join our team. This role requires both Client leadership skills and a strategic mindset to work across digital platforms and campaigns. The candidate should ideally have experience across both consumer and B2B clients, having worked in an agency, or as an in-house digital specialist.

To succeed in this role, a growth mindset is important, with the ability to plan and manage activity across content, social and influencer. You will have a track record of leading digital strategy, as well as managing and nurturing clients, while working with other departments, including Design, Development, SEO and Content.

There is a lot of room for growth within the role for the right person. We are looking for someone with a real passion to amplify brands, who can partner with their clients, work on creative briefs and ultimately ensure that client expectations are exceeded every single time.

Here’s what we are looking for:

Manage social, copywriting and influencer activity and digital programs across key clients. Maintain a monthly calendar for clients with strategies and creative copy. Identify potential opportunities and areas of growth to broaden the team’s scope of work in digital within existing clients. Manage and develop client relationships, exhibiting best practices in client handling. Write digital proposals and plans for social, content and influencer activities – both stand-alone campaigns and integrated creative campaigns; develop digital strategies, channel recommendations and content frameworks. Oversee quality and operational performance of the digital output, ensuring work quality and deadline adherence, providing coaching and development for broader team members. Nurturing and growing junior team members, through mentoring and upskilling. A background in digital within an agency. Experience across both consumer and B2B clients. The ability and experience to provide clients with clear, confident, and well-informed strategic counsel and excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage expectations against budgets/results. Strong knowledge of the digital landscape including platforms and technology. A solid understanding of content marketing principles and the ability to convey them both internally and to clients. Experience working in collaboration with both earned and paid. A curiosity to keep up with digital trends, emerging platforms and changing audience behaviours. Fire to learn about digital media and apply it to business. Self-driven, responsible, team player, sincere, and results-oriented.
