Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join our team in Mumbai and Panchkula. The QA role is essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products or services before they are released to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure the stability of the software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and user stories.
Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on the feasibility and testability of project requirements.
Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Perform thorough testing of web applications, mobile applications, and APIs across different platforms and browsers.
Automate test cases using testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvements to prevent future issues.
Participate in release planning and deployment activities, including smoke testing and production validation.
Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
44+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and database testing.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
