Job Overview:
As an Advertising and Media Correspondent/Journalist/Reporter, you will be responsible for researching, investigating, and reporting on trends, developments, and stories within the advertising and media industry. You will play a crucial role in providing our audience with in-depth analysis, breaking news, and thought-provoking stories that shed light on this dynamic sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and Reporting:
- Conduct in-depth research to uncover industry trends, emerging technologies, and noteworthy campaigns.
- Write and publish articles, news stories, and features that provide insightful analysis and reporting on advertising and media-related topics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest news and developments in the industry.
2. Interviews and Source Building:
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, executives, and key stakeholders for interviews and information gathering.
- Conduct interviews to extract valuable insights and opinions from industry leaders.
3. Event Coverage:
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to provide live coverage and post-event analysis.
- Engage with industry professionals and report on event highlights and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a journalist, reporter, or correspondent, with a strong portfolio of published articles in the advertising and media space.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of advertising and media industry trends and key players is highly desirable.
