Job description

Utilize Data Visualization and Analytics tool like (Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL) to gather, analyze, and interpret inventory levels, trends, and movement data.

Generate actionable insights to optimize inventory turnover, reduce stockouts, and improve overall inventory efficiency.

Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs for inventory management.

SLOBs (Slow-Moving and Obsolete Inventory) Projection:

Utilize machine learning techniques to predict and project SLOBs, enabling proactive management and mitigation strategies.

Work closely with stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize SLOBs.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Design and create comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI for regular updates on inventory metrics and performance.

Present findings to leadership and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the inventory management workflow.

Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement tools and automation to streamline inventory-related processes.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s Degree is required; a computer science / Data Science /Business Analytics specialization will be preferred.

This candidate can work in a global team across cultures and APAC time zones.

Exceptional leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills are a must.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Machine Learning (good to have), and SQL.

Proven ability to develop and implement tools for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.

Analytical Thinking:

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Inventory Management Knowledge: (Good to have)

Understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain dynamics.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

Excellent people management and influencing skills in multiple levels skills is a must.

A minimum of 2 years experience with SAP-APO or similar is preferred.

Fluent in English, spoken and written.
