Job Description :About the Role : The AWS Cloud Engineer would need to have at least 4+ years of experience. As the AWS Cloud Engineer, you will participate in the creation and maintenance of development, test and production environments with a goal of high availability, fault-tolerance and scalability. You will also be responsible for implementing continuous integration and deployment of code to the cloud hosted environments to accelerate development and reduce manual effort. Key Responsibilities : Configure and maintain application servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems Provision and manage cloud-based services Support development and QA across various projects to satisfy their day to day needs Reviewing system and application logs, looking for any potential issues and verifying completion of scheduled jobs Periodically monitor system performance and capacity to provide input for needed expansion or alternative configurations to support additional storage, database capacity, or web server capacity needs Managing and implementing large scale distributed systems Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end Gather regular performance statistics using automated scripts or tools and present to reporting manager upon request or agreed regular intervals Perform Root Cause Analysis of major incidents and recurring problems with web and database services and recommend and implement corrective actions Desired skills : General understanding of AWS cloud computing services and cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, CloudFront, RDS MySQL / Aurora, API Gateway, Route 53 etc. Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration Fluent in Apache web servers and Nginx Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation. Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems Experience working on high traffic B2C or B2B websites Exposure or familiar with some of these technologies: Redis, Memcache, Java, Jenkins, Git and REST API's Why Join Us : 1.
