As the Group Head of Art, you will be responsible for overseeing the artistic direction of our projects, ensuring high-quality visual designs, and inspiring a team of talented artists and designers.
Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership to the art and design team, setting a high standard for creativity and innovation.
- Drive the conceptualization and execution of visually stunning and effective digital campaigns.
Team Management:
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of art directors, graphic designers, and other creative professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive creative environment that encourages growth and skill development.
Project Oversight:
- Work closely with account managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality creative assets that meet client expectations.
Creative Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of creative strategies aligned with client goals and industry trends.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate art and design seamlessly into comprehensive marketing campaigns.
Quality Control:
- Maintain a high standard of visual and creative excellence, conducting regular reviews to ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance their performance and skillsets.
Trend Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
- Apply insights to continually elevate the agency's creative output and maintain a competitive edge.
Client Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding artistic direction and design-related discussions.
- Present creative concepts and effectively communicate the rationale behind design choices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior art or design role within a digital agency.
- Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and traditional design projects.
- Expertise in industry-standard design software and tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
