Job description
1)Providing assistance to the application team in identifying database problems .
2)Good Hands-on working knowledge on a)Performance Tuning .
b)Always-on, Mirroring and Replication. .
c)Backup and Recovery . d)SQL server Version, Database migrations. .
e)creating and troubleshooting SQL Server Agent Jobs. . f)Database Maintenance activity . g)Database files management .
3)Good Troubleshooting skill for SSIS package . 4)Knowledge on TDE encryption .
5)Exposure to TDP / TSM / Veeam for data backup and recovery .
6)Database Security adherence. .
7)Co-ordinate with customers / other teams / vendors in resolving requests and incidents. .
8) Process adherence, process improvements and knowledge management , Automate the daily tasks using PowerShell.
9)Involve in problem management .
10) Working knowledge on SCOM / Vrops / monitoring tool
1. Strong in SQL server administration (HA, performance tuning, backups, monitoring, auditing)
2. Strong in PowerShell scripting, Terraform coding
3. Strong knowledge in any of the google cloud DB technologies ( Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL, Spanner etc.. )
