Job Description

Position: Senior Producer - Programming and Operations
Purpose: The position is responsible for managing the creative process and operations involved in delivery of content with the objective of driving viewership for the assigned property.
Education: Degree in mass communication or any allied degree (Creative capabilities will be given a preference over educational qualification for this role)
Experience: Minimum5 years of experience with production houses/ programming teams of other broadcasters
Location: Mumbai
Reporting Relationship: Head - Programming
Business/Channel/Function: Channel Sony YAY!
Key Result Areas:

• Creative Supervision of shows - Ideation and creative contribution
• Management of programming budgets - Monitor vendor pay-outs as per POs to control excess payments to any vendors, streamline and communicate between internal and external teams, etc.
• Cross Functional Collaboration- Internal & External Vendors
• Ensure smooth programming operations to deliver error-free content
• Display team leadership capabilities

Critical Competencies:
Behavioural: Influencing Skills, Vendor management, Attention to detail and Listening and Observation
Technical: . Understanding of media and broadcasting house, Understanding the end-to-end production process, basic understanding of the existing and evolving needs of the consumer / market trends, project management and knowledge of editing cinematography, lighting, directions
