Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Executive Chef for a pre-opening restaurant property. The restaurant will be a fine dining restaurant serving North Western Frontier Province cuisine. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, designing recipes, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality food is served. The Chef will also be responsible for maintaining kitchen inventory, food hygiene and safety, and building relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Expertise in menu planning, recipe designing, and kitchen operations
• Experience in managing and supervising kitchen staff
• Deep understanding of food hygiene and safety practices, as well as culinary techniques and equipment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage inventory, plan and review budgets, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
• A degree in Culinary Arts, or certification from a recognized culinary institution is a must.
• Experience in managing multiple kitchens or outlets, preferably in a larger hotel or restaurant chain. ITC, Indian Accent, Farzi Cafe or experience in any other Indian Fine dining concept is a requirement.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
