About Us: DressCode is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality garments. We're a passionate team dedicated to creating innovative apparel solutions for a variety of sectors. About the Role: We are seeking a talented and creative Garment Designer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing and developing apparel for schools, hospitals, and other potential markets. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to special projects focused on creating groundbreaking and functional scrub designs. Responsibilities: ● Design and develop new apparel collections for schools and hospitals, ensuring they meet specific functional and aesthetic requirements. ● Research market trends and user needs to inform design decisions. ● Create technical sketches, flats, and specifications for garment production. ● Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet production standards. ● Work closely with suppliers to source materials and trims. ● Participate in special projects focused on innovative scrub designs, exploring new materials, functionalities, and aesthetics. Qualifications: ● Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Garment Designer. ● Proven experience in designing apparel for schools and/or healthcare institutions is a plus. ● Strong understanding of garment construction, technical specifications, and materials. ● Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills (e.g., Adobe Illustrator). ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. ● Strong communication and collaboration skills. ● A passion for innovation and a desire to create unique and functional designs. Bonus Points: ● Experience with designing scrubs or medical wear. ● Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials. ● Experience working with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
